Pixie is an 8 month old terrier mix. She is a very social young dog and likes to meet new people. Pixie enjoys going on long walks with our volunteers. She’s small and easy to walk. She also likes to cuddle and will sit next to you while you read hear a book. Pixie would love to have a family of her own. Come meet Pixie at Five Acres Animal Shelter. We are open from 2-6pm Tuesday-Friday, 12-6pm on weekends and closed on Mondays.
Five Acres Animal Shelter is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in St. Charles. Our mission is to end pet homelessness, promote responsible pet ownership and advocate for animal welfare. We are the only no kill shelter in St. Charles County and rely completely on private support. We rescue and find homes for hundreds of dogs and cats every year. In addition to our adoption program, we have a humane education program and Animeals pet food pantry for low income pet owners.
