Missouri Tartan Days Schedule: Celtic Music, Highland Games and All Things Scottish

The Missouri Tartan Day Festivities will begin Friday, April 5 at 5 p.m. at St. Charles' Frontier Park and run through Sunday afternoon.

Missouri Tartan Day Festivities begin Friday, April 5 in Frontier Park. The event includes a parade, live entertainment, vendors, clan displays, contests and athletic competitions.

Entertainment venues this year include the Clan Row Tent, the Miller Tent, the Main Stage and the Piping Field.

Entertainment will feature music from Roger Netherton, Pictus, Clabber Alley, Mother Grove and 3 Pints Gone; dancing with Dance Caledonia, the Flower of Scotland Dance Troupe; and storytelling with Jeff Campbell.

Highland Athletics run throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.

6 p.m. - Roger Netherton in the Miller Tent
6:15 p.m. - Line up for Calling of the Clans
6:30 p.m. - Calling of the Clans in the Miller Tent
7 p.m. - Pictus in the Miller Tent
7:45 p.m. - Bonnie Knees Contest in the Miller Tent
8 p.m. - Clabber Alley in the Miller Tent
9 p.m. - Mother Grove in the Miller Tent
10 p.m. - Festival closes for the day
