Storms Move Through St. Louis Area

Area is under tornado watch until 10 p.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service of St. Louis issued a severe thunderstorm warning for St. Charles County. Thunderstorms capable of producing quarter-sized hail and winds in excess of 80 mph were moving west at 45 miles per hour, according to the website.

A tornado watch is also in effect until 10 p.m. for St. Louis and St. Charles Counties.
