St. Charles Street Committee to Discuss One Way Outer Roads

Street committee meets Tuesday at 4 p.m.

A range of possible improvements to Interstate 70 are expected to be discussed tonight at the 4 p.m. Street Committee Meeting in St. Charles.

to study whether one-way outer roads in St. Charles would improve traffic flow in the area. The St. Charles County Road Board, which awards funding for road projects with revenue raised by the ½ cent transportation sales tax, had hoped to extend the current study of Interstate 70 in St. Charles.

St. Charles city council members said they needed to learn more about the planned study before approving the additional funds.
