St. Charles Man $1 Million Richer After Powerball Win
Jason Hughes won the second-level Powerball prize just four days before his 40th birthday.
Just four days before his birthday, a St. Charles man won big playing Powerball.
Jason Hughes won $1 million in the March 16 Powerball drawing. Hughes selected the winning numbers (3-7-21-44-53) himself and won the second-level Powerball prize.
Hughes purchased his winning ticket at Riviera, 3205 Highway 94 North, in St. Charles. The winning ticket was an early birthday ticket—Hughes picked his lucky digits just four days before his 40th birthday.

Powerball is a multi-lottery game with jackpots starting at $40 million. Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m.
