St. Charles Is Luckiest Town in County for Lotto Tickets

If you're looking for big payouts, your odds-on favorite to buy a Missouri Lottery scratchers ticket is likely in St. Charles.

According to a release from the lottery, St. Charles residents won big prizes—$1,000 or more—in April. 

The luckiest of the bunch? That would be Vipul Bhagat, who won $3,250 on a Pick 4 scratcher.

The lottery handed out more than $5 million in prizes of $1,000 or more to Missouri Lottery players during April.

The luckiest person in the state was Daniel Flanagan, of St. Louis, who won $1 million in a Mega Millions lottery scratch off ticket. 

If you're in the market for a scratch off ticket, you might want to buy in Florissant, which had the most winners of any city in a Patch town. Florissant residents won a combined 31 times in April. The next closest was St. Charles, which had 20 winners.
