Pet of the Week: Xena Loves Kids

Xena is a 5-year-old Border Collie mix. She’s potty trained and knows some basic obedience. Xena is well behaved and gets to spend her days at the shelter in one of the offices. Xena is playful and likes toys, running in the yard and going for walks. She’s good with kids and loves everyone she meets. Come see her at Five Acres Animal Shelter, 2-6pm Tuesday through Friday or 12-6pm on the weekend.

Five Acres Animal Shelter is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in St. Charles. Our mission is to end pet homelessness, promote responsible pet ownership and advocate for animal welfare. We are the only no kill shelter in St. Charles County and rely completely on private support. We rescue and find homes for hundreds of dogs and cats every year.
