Pet of the Week: Eight Month Old Active Alastair

Alastair is an 8 month old cutie. He is a curious young fellow that is playful and energetic. He enjoys exploring and following people around the shelter. Alastair is full of life and would enjoy a home with someone that will play with him and give lots of love and attention. If you enjoy a fun active cat, Alastair may just be the one for you. Stop by Five Acres Tuesday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Five Acres Animal Shelter is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in St. Charles. Our mission is to end pet homelessness, promote responsible pet ownership and advocate for animal welfare. We are the only no kill shelter in St. Charles County and rely completely on private support. We rescue and find homes for hundreds of dogs and cats every year. In addition to our adoption program, we have a humane education program and Animeals pet food pantry for low income pet owners.
