One Additional Lane Closed I-70 Blanchette Bridge Tuesday
The westbound lane closure will start at 9 a.m.
The following information was provided by the Missouri Department of Transportation
One additional lane on westbound and then eastbound Interstate 70 at the Blanchette Missouri River Bridge will be closed on Tuesday, April 2 for maintenance work.
The westbound lane closure will start at 9 a.m. When crews complete the pavement repairs westbound, they will close one lane in the eastbound direction. The work should be complete by noon. Motorists are advised to use Route 370 or Route 364 as alternate Missouri River crossings.

The additional lane reduction will leave only two lanes open for traffic.
Motorists are advised to slow down in the work zone and obey the posted 45 mph speed limit.
