MODOT Prepares for Westbound Blanchette Bridge Closure
Expect lane closures next week on westbound Interstate 70 exit ramp to Interstate 270.
The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, L. Krupp Construction, will reconstruct the westbound Interstate 70 exit ramp to northbound and southbound Interstate 270 starting Monday.
Work scheduled for next week includes:
- Narrowed ramps Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Closed ramps Tuesday and Thursday 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. The exit ramp (232B) to St. Charles Rock Road (Route 180) will also be closed.
Motorists need to use exit 234 (St. Charles Rock Road/Route 180) on
I-70 to detour around the ramp closure.
This work consists of adding a permanent lane on the westbound Interstate 70 exit ramps to northbound and southbound Interstate 270. The new two-lane exit will help detour traffic towards either Route 370 or Route 364 (Page Extension) as part of the
