Lane Closures Planned for Eastbound Blanchette Bridge

MoDOT will close lanes starting 9 a.m. July 5.

One lane on eastbound Interstate 70 on the Blanchette Bridge in will close July 5 and 6 and remain closed for the next two weeks.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the inside lane of the interstate from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 5 and 6 to prepare for the future construction of the crossover at the Interstate 70 median.

The crossover will help westbound traffic get onto eastbound Interstate 70 span of the Blanchette Bridge when the westbound span is closed in November 2012 for construction.
