Kiwanis Club Pancake Day Fundraiser Supports Local Youth

Annual event will be Feb. 12 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

St. Charles Kiwanis Club members will be serving up thousands of pancakes, sausage, coffee and milk on Tuesday from dawn until past dark. 

The event will be from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Blanchette Park Memorial Hall. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and children. Tickets can be purchased from American Family Insurance, Goellner Printing and St. Charles Foot Care or at the door.

The St. Charles Kiwanis Club has been around for more than 75 years and has been holding the pancake day fundraiser for at least 60 of them, according to Past President John Pallardy.

The event is the club's largest fundraiser. In the past they've served more than 3,000 pancakes in a day. 

Money raised goes to support local Kiwanis clubs at various high schools in the area.
