Jim M. Hanifan, 78, was taken to Progress West Hospital Monday for minor injuries following a car accident at Research Park Circle Monday morning.
Hanifan, of , was driving westbound on Research Parkway Circle near Interstate 70 and made a left turn in front of a car driven by John Kumnick, 70, heading eastbound, according to the report posted on the Missouri State Highway Patrol website.
The accident happened Monday morning around 11:46 a.m. Hanifan was wearing a safety device, according to the crash report.
