  • Christmas Traditions: This annual festival runs every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday, starting Nov. 23, through Dec. 24. It features a cast of more than 30 Christmas characters including a Victorian-era Santa and Tiny Tim from A Christmas Carol. See hours here.
  • SCC Young People's Theatre Present 'White Christmas': Dec. 14-17 at St. Charles Community College, 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., Cottleville. Tickets are $8 for all ages. Themusical features 17 well-known Irving Berlin songs, including “Blue Skies” and “White Christmas. For more information or tickets, call 636-922-8233, or visit www.stchastickets.com.
  • STUPEFY! The 90 Minute Harry Potter Parody:  Friday-Saturday at at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. at the Emerson Black Box Theatre at Lindenwood University. Tickets are $10 for students 21 and under or $15 general admission. Purchase tickets online or by calling the box office at 314-361-5664. 
  • The Erin Bode Group with David Halen Holiday Concert: Friday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. at Foundry Art Centre, 520 N Main Ctr, St. Charles.   • Kids Night Out at the Y!: Friday, Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at YMCA of St. Charles County, 3900 Shady Springs Ln, St. Peters. Kids ages 5-12 enjoy time with friends swimming, playing games and creating arts and crafts.
  • Singer / Songwriter Night @ Rhythm Music: Friday, Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at 3333 Rue Royale Ste 2, St. Charles. Featured artists perform at this Nashville Style Singer/Songwriter night. 
  • The Handmade Marketplace Craft Show: Saturday, Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. at St. Charles Community College, 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, Cottleville. This show will feature crafters and artists that have active Etsy shops where they sell items of a handmade nature. 
  • Holiday Pet Adoption Event: Saturday, Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. at 2835 W Randolph St, St. Charles. Santa visits the shelter from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to take pictures with your pets. 
  • St. Charles County Youth Orchestra Winter Concert Veterans Holiday Celebration: Saturday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 3601 Ehlmann Rd., St. Charles. The Vietnam Veterans of America Post 458 recently donated a flag to the Orchestra and a special flag dedication will be part of the concert.   • Symphony Society of Saint Charles County Holiday Festival: Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at 1 Saint Peters Centre Blvd., St. Peters. Come hear music of the season.
  • St. John 4th Annual Christmas Cantata: Dec. 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. at St. John United Church of Christ, 405 S 5th St, St. Charles. This cantata tells the story of Christ’s birth, complete with musical arrangements and meaningful scriptures. Join the St. John Chancel Choir, orchestra and soloists for the event. After the performance, all are welcome to enjoy food and at the Tasting Party immediately following in new fellowship hall. This event is free and open to the public.
  • Christmas Traditions with The Lennon Sisters: Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. at J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, 2300 W Clay St, St. Charles. The Lennon Sisters: Kathy, Janet and Mimi, bring nostalgia to St. Charles with their holiday show along with their granddaughters. Tickets start at $25.50 and top out at $43.50.
