Fall Weddings at the Winery

October is the most popular months to wed in Missouri. And, why not? With our crisp fall days and gorgeous sunsets, fall is the perfect season to host your picture-perfect wedding.

Every year, the winery is booked solid for fall weddings. Brides know how coveted September and October dates are, so we generally book these weekends one year in advance. Of course, there’s always the rare cancellation, or even more romantic the brides are too excited to wait for fall so they opt for a winter wedding.

This year we have a great group of brides and grooms getting married at Mount Pleasant Estates. It’s fun to see the couples add their personal touches to the winery. Brides continue to impress me as they decorate our aisle and arbor. Some couples line the aisle with rustic lanterns and others use shepherds hooks to hang flowers. Some couples take this opportunity to create their own “DIY” project—whether they make their own decorative balls, or drape elegant lace and fabric over the arbor.

The vista creates a perfect backdrop for weddings. The panoramic view of the Missouri River Valley is unlike any other in the state. And, with our Terrace Ballroom, couples never have to worry about inclement weather. We will use our Terrace Ballroom as a rain back-up for no extra charge. Brides will also have peace of mind as their wedding is the only wedding taking place at that time. We never double book weddings so you and your family have the whole winery to yourself.

2014 September and October dates are going quickly. To schedule a tour, call Mount Pleasant Estates at 636-482-9463. Ask us about our 2014 ceremony and reception special to see how you can save more than $3,600!
