It’s Wedding Season!

It's wedding season!

By Becky Dunston, Mount Pleasant Event Manager

I’ve been in the winery/event business for four years and I’ve never seen a winery with such natural beauty. Mount Pleasant Estates is nestled in the rolling hills of the Augusta Appellation, overlooking the vast expanse of the Missouri River Valley. This may sound corny, but sometimes I feel like I’m driving right through a travel magazine brochure! And, now I get to plan events and weddings here? Honestly, I can’t believe they call this a job.

Mount Pleasant has so much to offer, especially for brides and grooms. From our panoramic views of the Missouri River Valley to our elegant Terrace Ballroom to our award-winning wine, we are the ultimate getaway for couples. Our sunsets are unlike any other… perfect for an evening wedding ceremony. We’ll set up a beautiful arbor overlooking the valley for your nuptials and we can offer wine barrels to serve as decoration.

After you say “I do,” invite your guests to our outdoor patio or Terrace Deck for a cocktail while you and your betrothed share a private moment taking photos in the vineyards. When you’re ready to join the party, your guests will be anxiously waiting in our newly renovated Terrace Ballroom.

Our ballroom has beautiful hardwood floors, a large and welcoming fireplace and windows stretching the length of the wall, overlooking the Missouri River Valley. The ballroom is a blank canvas that can be set up however you like.

We have a few dates available for weddings or private events this June, and we’re running a special for all those last-minute brides. Call now to schedule a tour! We also have space available next spring, so call as soon as possible. Our 2014 calendar is already filling up.
