Precision Restorations Celebrates Fifth Anniversary

Precision Restorations, a St. Louis, Mo.-based classic car restoration and customization company which was founded on 8/8/08, will celebrate its fifth year in business. 

 

The company offers unique services including a comprehensive estimate system, which is based on a proprietary software program that provides a detailed cost breakdown prior to beginning work. The software program is also designed to manage all labor and parts associated with the restoration project.

Precision Restorations’ annual revenue is $1.3 million with various levels of auto restoration and customizations ranging from $35,000 to $100,000 per project.  The company handles both national and international customers and typically has 30 to 35 cars in its 24,000-square-foot shop.

Owner and St. Charles resident Dale Oestreich said the company produces an excellent product that “entices people from across the globe to seek us out to handle their restoration work.  We believe our success is due to quality craftsmanship and maintaining ongoing working relationships where communication is essential.”  Oestreich said his company sends written updates accompanied with photographs so owners know exactly how each job is progressing.  He added that a typical restoration project takes approximately six to eight months.

 

Prior to Precision Restorations, Oestreich founded American Delivery Service, Inc. (ADS), a $2.5 million courier, warehouse and distribution company that he sold in 2006.  ADS was named an Inc. 500 company ranked as one of the fastest growing closely-held corporations in 1987.
