Youth In Need Selects New President

Pat Holterman-Hommes, who currently serves as Chief Program Officer, will take the post Jan. 1, 2013, after Jim Braun retires.

Pat Holterman-Hommes has been named the new CEO and President of effective Jan. 1, 2013. 

Current CEO Jim Braun plans to retire at the end of the year. Holterman-Hommes has worked for Youth in Need for 23 years. She currently serves as Chief Program Officer. The Board of Directors approved her selection on Feb. 15. 

“Pat has a deep understanding of the mission and strategic vision of Youth In Need as well as exceptional proficiency in serving at-risk kids and families and communicating our values to staff, board members and our many stakeholders in the community,” Braun said in a press release. “Pat’s leadership will be tremendous for Youth In Need. I’m very happy for her and comforted in knowing the board has selected the best candidate for the job.”

Braun will serve as a consultant for Youth In Need until July, 1 2013 to help with the transition.
