The Old Town Guest House Welcomes Tourists

Visitors to St. Charles have another option for a place to stay that's close to historic Main Street.
Matt and Audrey Gorski, of Old Monroe, opened The Old Town Guest House, a vacation rental home located at 320 South Second Street, across from .
The guest house has sleeping for seven people in three bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room. The cost to rent it is $125 per night.

Matt Gorski told the St. Charles Planning and Zoning Commission in February that he sees his guest house as a more private option than a bed and breakfast or a hotel. St. Charles approved the business license for the business in April.
St. Charles is also home to several bed and breakfast establishments, several of which are located on Main Street.
