Environmentally Conscious Prasino Plans April Grand Opening

Eco-friendly restaurant will offer organic and gluten-free fare.

An environmentally friendly restaurant announced plans to open at the Streets of St. Charles Development in April.

Prasino, which is Greek for "green", plans to expand to its first location in the St. Louis area and third overall this spring. The restaurant focuses on locally-sourced ingredients and uses organic, all-natural, steroid and hormone free foods, according to a press release.

The restaurant will be open for breakfast through dinner, serving up items like a roasted beet salad, short rib tacos, Wisconsin ribeye and sushi rolls. Hours are set for 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week.
