Missouri Tartan Day

  • When/Where? Friday and Saturday , 500 S Riverside Dr, St. Charles.
  • What? This is a free festival celebrating Scottish-American Heritage. Click  to see a schedule of events throughout the day.

  • When/Where? Sunday, April 15, 2 p.m. , 101 N Main St, Saint Charles, MO 
  • What? Traditional Irish music session at Picasso's Coffeehouse in St Charles, third Sunday of every month, 2-5 p.m. An Irish session is an opportunity for musicians who play traditional Irish music to get together and play in an informal setting. All musicians familiar with Irish music are welcome to come and play. Everyone is welcome to come and listen.

  • When/Where/What?  Band of Pirates Parents (BOPP) is sponsoring a house tour to raise funds for upgrades to the St. Charles High School Band trailer. The tour consists of six homes that are representative of various historical periods throughout the city of St. Charles including 427 Jackson Street, 552 Clark Street, 1940 Sibley, West Clark Street, 2913 Concordia, 1755 John Weber Drive. The tour runs from 1 to 5 p.m. April 15, tickets are $20. Tickets can be purchased at Knit and Caboodle, 423 South Main Street, St. Charles, MO 63301

Lindenwood Presents 'A Streetcar Named Desire'

  • When/Where? Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at _, 2300 W Clay St. in St. Charles.
  • What? Lindenwood University’s Theatre Department presents the edgy classic, A Streetcar Named Desire in the university’s Emerson Black Box Theater. General admission tickets are available for $10 at the Lindenwood University Box Office. To reserve tickets or for more information, call 636-949-4433. 

Ronstadt Generations Performs at the Foundry Art Centre

  • When/Where? Friday, April 13 at 7 p.m. at the , 520 N Main Ctr. in St. Charles.
  • What? Listen to this family trio bring traditional Southwestern and Mexican songs to life. Tickets are $20 for the general public and $15 for FAC members. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit foundryartcentre.org or call 636-255-0270.

  • When/Where? Saturday, April 14 at 8:30 a.m.
  • What? This is an annual county-wide event sponsored by the cities of O’Fallon, Wentzville, St. Peters, St. Charles, Cottleville, Dardenne Prairie and Lake St. Louis, in partnership with Greenway Network, Inc. and Missouri River Relief, with additional sponsorship by Missouri Stream Team, Cee Kay Supply, Inc., and Wal-Mart. Volunteers collect trash from local creeks. Pre-registration is required.

Lake Saint Louis Farmers & Artists Market

  • When/Where? Saturday, April 14 at 8 a.m. at , 20 Meadows Circle Dr. in Lake St Louis.
  • What? The Lake Saint Louis Farmers & Artists Market (formerly the O’Fallon Farmers & Artists Market) announces its opening day at The Meadows Shopping Center on Saturday, April 14 from 8am-noon. Festivities include a ribbon cutting, live music and a free gift for the first 250 guests. The market will operate on Saturdays from 8am-noon through mid-October.

MLB's Pitch, Hit & Run event

  • When/Where? Sunday, April 15 at 9 a.m. at  , 900 T R Hughes Blvd. in O Fallon.
  • What? This event is designed to provide kids an opportunity to compete,  in a free baseball/softball competition. Competitors are divided into four age divisions: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14. All participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate and fill out a registration/waiver form prior to the start of the competition.   • When/Where? 6:30-10:30 p.m. April 14 at , 3900 Shady Springs Ln, Saint Peters, MO
  • What? The YMCA believes that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve, and to have fun in the process. At Kid’s Night Out children will enjoy time with friends swimming, playing games and creating arts and crafts. Held one Saturday of every month for kids age 5 to 12.

SCC Hosts Early Childhood Education Conference

  • When/Where? April 13-14 at 8 a.m. at ,4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville.
  • What? Child care and early education leaders and teachers from throughout eastern Missouri gather for the spring conference of the Rivers Bend Association for the Education of Young Children (RBAEYC) April 13-14.
