Missing St. Charles Man's Car Found in St. Louis City

Police are asking for your help finding Raymond Avett, 45, of St. Charles.

A missing St. Charles man's car has been found in the city of St. Louis, but Raymond Avett is still missing, St. Charles Police say.

The St. Charles Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding Avett, age 45, of the 3100 block of Flatboat Station.  

Police describe him as a white male, 5-foot-9-inches tall, 170 lbs, black hair and brown eyes.

Avett was reported missing on June 20, 2013.  

Avett's blue Ford Explorer was found in St. Louis near Third and Chouteau on June 22, 2013. The vehicle has an Illinois license plate.
