St. Charles Christmas Traditions

Christmas Traditions is a thirty year tradition in St. Charles filled with opportunities to meet Santa Claus from many different time periods, shopping and events.

The event starts Nov. 25, the day after Thanksgiving and continues through Dec. 24.

Some things you can do on Fridays:

  • Complimentary Carriage Shuttle is available on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Enjoy a Marshmallow Roast at 7 p.m. at the Chestnut Roasters' Fire Pit, 900 Block of South Main Street.
  • Check out the official city Christmas Tree is planted in Berthold Square.
  • Check out the sleigh bell ringers who will wander through various restaurants in the historic district to serenade diners.
