Showstoppers for Backstoppers

The concert will feature selections from Broadway musicals, Gospel and patriotic music. Performers will include the Mahnken Brass Quintet featuring Susan Slaughter, retired principal trumpet of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.

The concert will also feature The Community Gospel Choir under the direction of Cecelia Stearman, a group of more than 60 members working to break down racial, cultural and economic barriers in our community.

The concert will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Fellowship Hall.

Admission is free and donations will be received to benefit The Backstoppers. Backstoppers is an organization that provides financial assistance to the families of police officers, fire fighters, and medics killed in the line of duty in our local communities.
