Reading of "Killer Stuff and Tons of Money: An Insider's Look at the World of Flea Markets, Antiques, and Collecting

Author and University of Missouri Professor, Maureen Stanton, will read from her acclaimed book, "Killer Stuff and Tons of Money: An Insider's Look at the World of Flea Markets, Antiques, and Collecting," in this event to celebrate the paperback release of the book. Called "Utterly engaging" by the Washington Post, "Killer Stuff and Tons of Money" was a "Favorite Book of 2011" in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Kansas City Star, the Chicago Sun-Times, and the San Jose Mercury News. "Killer Stuff" was recently selected as a "Must Read" book for 2012 by the Massachusetts Center for the Book.  Stanton will read and show slides and video clips of objects and events mentioned in the book. The event is co-sponsored by Main Street Books in St. Charles, and is free and open to the public.
