“My Shadow & Me” showcases art by local college and university faculty along with a student they have selected to show with them. Participating schools include: St. Louis Community College – Flo Valley, St. Louis Community College – Meramec, St. Charles Community College, Lindenwood University, Maryville University, University of Missouri – St. Louis, and Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville.
The exhibition runs from November 18, 2011 to January 6, 2012. The opening reception is Friday, November 18 from 6-8pm. Free food and drink will be available, as well as the opportunity to meet and converse with the art professors and students. Foundry Studio Artist Colleen Johnson will present a free classical piano concert after the reception at 8pm, open to the public.
