Join us on the 4th of July for a evening bike ride and fireworks over the Missouri River. Bring your bikes, lawn chairs and coolers to The Blanchette Landing in Frenchtown.
Departing at 6:15pm, we will take in the summer sights on the Katy Trail leading to Machens Missouri. This is an easy two hour ride (12 miles each way) through Missouri River bottom lands. Almost any bike with tires of an inch or wider will do fine. Mountain bikers can get in a couple miles of riverfront single and double track along the way.
Return to Blanchette by 9:20 to chill out and take in the fireworks over the river.There is also a carnival and live music going on at Frontier Park till 11pm. The clubs on Main Street will also be celebrating well into the wee hours.
