Faith Ringgold, author of, will tell stories from her award-winning books and story quilts. Children will be invited onstage to read selections from Ringgold's books. The opportunity will introduce children to the work of this influential African-American artist, as well as promote the bridge between art and literacy.
The lecture will be held at the Young Auditorium on the historic Lindenwood University Campus.
