Dogtoberfest and Frenchtown Pet Parade

St. Charles Animal Services will host the Fifth annual Dogtoberfest and Frenchtown pet parade from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 22.

All dogs must be registered to attend the event. There will be a dog costume contest, parade float contest, prettiest eyes contest and a dog bone hunt.

There will be vendors, rescue groups and music at the event. Pets will be availabel for adoption and you can get your pet microchipped.

Float entries must be no bigger than a red wagon and cannot have motors. The parade starts at 12 p.m. at Blanchette Landing and ends at .
