Art Uncorked: An Evening of Grape Expectations

On September 15, the St. Charles City-County Library Foundation will host its 4th annual Art Uncorked celebration at the Kathryn Linnemann Library to benefit the Foundation's Imagine Campaign for early literacy. Art Uncorked: An Evening of Grape Expectations pairs wine tastings from Missouri vineyards with appetizers from local restaurants, caterers, and cafés. Talented artists will display and sell their work, as well as donate prized items for the silent auction.  Art Uncorked opens at 7:00pm where guests will meet featured artists and view their work and also sample a variety of wines and appetizers. Music from The Blanchette Trio will add to the atmosphere of celebration and expectation as guests await the results of the silent auction and, ultimately, the Uncorked Raffle drawing where one lucky guest will win $1,500! UNCORKED RAFFLE PRIZES include:  Grand Prize - $1,5002nd Prize - $5003rd Prize - Wine and Gift BasketParticipating artists include John Barhydt, Dan Brown, Kathe Cameron, Leslie Faust, Becca Francis, Teresa Holt, Jessica Justine, JoAnn Kargus, Kim Ownbey, Tamara Peeples, Jacqui Poor and Mark Roper. Wineries participating to date are Rolling Meadows Vineyard & Winery, Yellow Farmhouse Vineyard & Winery, and Three Squirrels Winery. Local brewers Exit 6 Brewery and O'Fallon Brewery are also taking part.Appetizers and desserts will be offered by Fila's Market, Garden Cafe ala Fleur, Kym's Confections, Quintessential Catering, R.T.
