"What is art?" This is the age old question to which many people do not have an answer. Yasmina Reza explores this question as well as the true nature of friendship in her Tony Award Winning play, 'ART'. After paying 200,000 Euros for what is essentially a white canvas with white diagonal lines, Serge finds himself defending the value of his painting to his best friend, Ma...rc. Yvan, the third of the trio, attempts to understand both sides and mediate between the two. Naturally, Yvan gets pulled directly into the center of the conflict and now must deal with his two friends as well as the horrors he is facing trying to plan his wedding. In this Comedy Drama, the 3 best friends come to realize that even though they have been friends for over 15 years, their differences don't stop with artistic opinion.
