Art, Music and Wine: Spring ArtWalk Comes to North Main This Weekend

The Spring ArtWalk, now in its eighth year, will feature area artists, live music and wine.

This weekend, visitors will have the chance to explore St. Charles' Historic North Main Street while enjoying the works of area artists.

The 8th Annual Spring ArtWalk is a three day “artist-friendly” event. Visitors to North Main can peruse the works of juried artists housed indoors at various businesses.

Locations this year are:

  • The Eye Shoppe, 115 N. Main
  • Framation's, 218 N. Main
  • Central Building, 220 N. Main
  • Worthington, 222 N. Main
  • Remington's, 302 N. Main

This year’s event starts Fri., April 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and continues on Sat., April 26 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sun., April 28 from noon until 5 p.m.

The artwork featured will include jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, photography, cast paper, glass and mixed media as well as oil, acrylic and water painting.

Live music for the event will be provided by Geoffrey Keough and the Buckhannan Bros on Friday; Hot String Soup, Alvin Zamudio, From Distant Shores, the Buckhannan Bros, Dave Catani and Late August on Saturday; and Chris Griffith, Dave Catani and Stewart Barteau on Sunday.

Proceeds from the event, which is hosted by Saint Charles Riverfront Arts (SCRA), benefits the organization's efforts to promote visual and performing arts throughout the community.

The popular Patron’s Preference drawing will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the Spring ArtWalk Headquarters, located at 222 N. Main St. Tickets for Patron's Preference are $100 each and are on sale through Sunday, April 28th at Remington’s and at Framations Gallery.
