February

  • Wine and Dine Gala Culinary Experience: Enjoy a wine reception and plated gourmet dinner. 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at St. Charles Convention Center. $95

March 

  • Moolah Shrine Parade: March 9, noon along Riverside Drive. Event kicks off the Moolah Shrine Circus in St. Charles at the Family Arena.
  • Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball Tournament: March 14 to 17 at Family Arena. 
  • Symphony Orchestra Performance: St. Charles County Symphony will perform at Foundry Art CEntre at 7:30 p.m. March 16. 
  • Lindenwood Cycling Competition: March 24 morning race through downtown St. Charles.

  • Missouri Tartan Day Festivities: April 5 to 7 in Frontier Park. This Scottish-American event typically runs through the whole weekend and includes live music and food. 
  • Food Trucks in Frontier: 5 to 8 p.m. April 16. Check out food trucks in Frontier Park along with live entertainment. 
  • Sunday "Fun Day" on North Main Street: 1-6 p.m. April 21, in the 100-200 blocks of North Main Street. Listen to live music, eat food and entertainment. 
  • Spring ArtWalk: April 26-28, North Main Street. St. Charles Riverfront Arts will host the annual spring art walk that will include live music, entertainment, wine tasting and more than 40 artists' work.
  • Adam Morgan Fun Run: April 27, this run in Frontier Park raises funds for autism. 

May

  • Bridgeway R.U.S.H. 5K and Family Fun Run: May 4 in Frontier Park. 
  • Karen 4 A Kause 5k Run/Walk and Children's Dash Against Cancer: May 11 Frontier Park. 
  • Turtle Trot 5k Fun Run and Walk: May 11 at DuSable Park. 
  • Music on Main5-7:30 p.m, May 15, in the 100-200 blocks of North Main Street. Live music by Butch Wax and the Hollywoods 
  • Lewis and Clark Heritage Days: May 18-19, Frontier Park. Experience the 1804 encampment of Lewis and Clark in St. Charles. See military encampments, a grand parade, skillet toss and more.
  • Sunday "Fun Day" on North Main Street: 1-6 p.m. May 19, in the 100-200 blocks of North Main Street. Listen to live music, eat food out on Main Street.  
  • Missouri River Irish Fest: May 24-26, Frontier Park. The 8th annual Irish Festival will have musical performances, a children's area, a wellies parade, bungee jumping, a play and programs on the Sister Cities program.
  • Memorial Day Observance: May 27 

June 

  • Miles Against Melanoma June 1 in New Town 
  • St. Charles Municipal Band Concert: 8 p.m. June 13, 20 and 27 in Frontier Park. 
  • Sunday "Fun Day" on North Main Street: 1-6 p.m. June 9 in the 100-200 blocks of North Main Street. Listen to live music, eat food and entertainment. 
  • Katy Trail Bike Ride: June 16-21 
  • Food Trucks in Frontier: 5 to 8 p.m. June 18. Check out food trucks in Frontier Park along with live entertainment. 
  • Music on Main: 5-7:30 p.m, June 19, in the 100-200 blocks of North Main Street. Music by Serapis. 
  • Shakespeare in the Park: See Romeo and Juliet directed by Melissa Boyer June 21-23 and June 28-30 in Frontier Park.

July

  • Riverfest 2012:  July 4, Frontier Park. This is a one-day celebration that includes a parade, music, vendors and fireworks.
  • St. Charles Municipal Band Concert: 8 p.m. July 11, 18, 25 in Frontier Park.
  • St. Charles Lion's Club Car Show: July 7 at McNair Park.
  • Hope for Haiti 5k Run: July 13 
  • St. Charles Community Big Jazz Band: July 14 at 7:30 p.m. in Frontier Park.
  • Music on Main 5-7:30 p.m. July 17, in the 100-200 blocks of North Main Street. Music by Soulard Blues Band.
  • Missouri American Water MR340 Kayak Race ending at Bishop's Landing.

August

  • St. Charles Municipal Band Concert: 8 p.m. Aug. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 in Frontier Park.
  • Fleet Feet Flat Five: Aug. 4 race through Frontier Park. Learn more at www.fleetfeetstlouis.com. 
  • St. Charles Community Big Jazz Band Aug. 11 in Frontier Park. 
  • Festival of the Little Hills: Aug. 16-18, Frontier Park and Main Street. Friday 4-10 p.m., Sat. 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hundreds of craft booths, food and beer line Main Street.
  • Food Trucks in Frontier: 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 20. Check out food trucks in Frontier Park along with live entertainment. 
  • Music on Main: 5-7:30 p.m. August 21, in the 100-200 blocks of North Main Street. Music by Miss Jubilee.
  • Race for the Rivers Festival: Aug. 24 in Frontier Park. 

September

  • St. Charles Community Big Jazz Band: Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m. in Frontier Park.
  • Trails for Tails: Fun walk and 5k Run in Frontier Park Sept. 7. 
  • Walt Fili Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk: Sept. 7 in Frontier Park. 
  • Sunday "Fun Day" on North Main Street: 1-6 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 100 and 200 blocks of North Main Street. 
  • MOsaics: Festival for the Arts: Sept. 13-15, North Main Street. More than 110 juried and invited artists will display and sell art over the weekend.
  • Music on Main: 5-7:30 p.m. Sept. 18 in the 100 and 200 blocks of North Main Street. Listen to the Jeremiah Johnson Band with the Sliders. 
  • Oktoberfest: Sept. 27-29: Frontier Park. Head out for a weekend-long celebration of German heritage, complete with weiner dog fashion show and race, health fair, beer, vintage car show, and musical entertainment.
  • We Love St. Charles 5k Race: Sept. 28 in Frontier Park. 

October

  • SSM Weight Loss Institute Walk from Obesity: Oct. 5 in Frontier Park.
  • MO' Cowbell Half Marathon and 5k Race: Oct. 6 starting in Frontier Park.
  • Sunday "Fun Day" on North Main Street: 1-6 p.m. October 6 in the 100 and 200 blocks of North Main Street. Live entertainment, food and music. 
  • Dogtoberfest: October 12, DuSable Dog Park. Pet vendors, pet parade, animal adoption event and more. 
  • Rendezvous Ramble: 2 p.m. Oct. 13 family bike ride starting at Frontier Park. 
  • Food Trucks in Frontier: 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 15. Check out food trucks in Frontier Park along with live entertainment. 
  • Lindenwood University Homecoming Parade: Oct. 19
  • Trick or Treat on Main Street: Children under ages 12 can wear costumes and trick or treat down Main from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 31. 

November/December 

  • The Hunger Run: Hope Lutheran Church hosts this 5k run to benefit Kids Against Hunger on Nov. 2. 
  • Veteran's Day Ceremony: 11 a.m. Nov. 11 St. Charles County Historic Courthouse. 
  • Christmas Traditions: Nov. 29-Dec. 24, South Main Street. This festival continues throughout December. Walk down Main Street and meet characters like Jack Frost, Mrs. Claus and Santa. Ride a horse drawn carriage. Have breakfast with Santa.
  • Las Posadas: Watch Mary and Joseph travel looking for a shelter for the night. Parade concludes in Frontier Park. Starts at 6 p.m. Dec. 7. 
  • Santa's North Pole Dash: 5k Run and Children's Fun Run on Dec. 14 starting on Main Street. Event run by Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce.
