"The Lonely Shadow," "Beneath the Covers," and "Paper Cuts": Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Foundry Art Centre. The original illustrations from the award-winning book “The Lonely Shadow” by silhouette artist Clay Rice will be exhibited in Gallery I of the Foundry Art Centre for view from June 28 – September 27, 2013.

Dirty Soap Benefit Concert for Five Acres Animal ShelterSaturday at 7 a.m. at 3821 McClay Rd Saint Peters. The jazz band Dirty Soap will be putting on a benefit performance at St. Charles Coffee Cafe & Wine Bar to benefit the Five Acres Animal Shelter. This rocking performance will take place on the evening of June 29th, 2013 beginning at 7:30pm through 11pm. The coffee house is located at 3821 McClay Rd., St. Peters, Missouri 63376. This event will feature live music, prizes and surprises. This will be a family friendly event.

Kickball TournamentSaturday at 8 a.m. at  Boone's Lick Park, St. Charles. The tournament benefits Serve St. Charles and The Christmas Store. Cost is $10 per person with a non-refundable $20 to reserve your teams spot. Teams are encouraged to have 10-15 players. 5K/1 Mile Fun Run Tri County & O'Fallon Family YMCASaturday at 9 a.m. at Quail Ridge Park - Wentzville. .  A great family event with a beautiful and challenging course!  Call 636-332-5574 to register.  

PNC Bank Pet Adoption & Family Fun Day EventSaturday at 10 a.m. at 1400 Mexico Loop Rd E, O Fallon. The St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center will be present with adoptable pets. Campbell Montessori School Community Yard SaleSaturday at 9 a.m. at Campbell Montessori School 3880 Shady Springs Lane, St. Charles. All proceeds to benefit the students’ competitive First Lego League Robotics team.

Check out Hot Rods, Classic Automobiles and Muscle Cars:  The St. Charles County Parks Department is hosting Classic Car Shows at the County Heritage Museum, 1630 Heritage Landing, (off Highway 94 near St. Charles) from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 29. 

Mount Pleasant Estates To Host Swing Dance LessonsSaturday at 1 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Estates, 5634 High Street, Augusta. Join Mike and Natasha, dance instructors and owners of Augusta’s Acorn Ridge Bed and Breakfast, for a fun West Coast Swing Dance class at Mount Pleasant Estates, in the Terrace Ballroom. FREE Summer Concert to Benefit Habitat for HumanitySaturday at 6 p.m. at 
 New Town Amphitheater in St. Charles. Rhythm Music and Performing Arts Studio will be hosting a Free  Outdoor Benefit Concert for Habitat for 
Humanity of St. Charles County from 6-10 p.m. The concert is free of charge and family friendly.  Bring your coolers, picnic blankets and family and come listen to solo artist, Mariah Broeker, Opening band Clockwork and headliner and nationally touring band The Madison Letter.

Symphony Society of Saint Charles County - Patriotic Pops
Sunday at 6 p.m. at 7201 Muegge Road, St. Charles. The Symphony Society of St. Charles County presents:"Patriotic Pops" with special guest choir from the  1st Baptist Church of St. Charles. The event is free.
