Zeus, A Lab Mix, Still Looking For a Family
Other animals featured include an adventurous husky and two young cats.
Staff members at the St. Charles Animal Shelter are desperate to try to find a home for Zeus, an 8-month-old black shepherd/lab mix.
He was featured two weeks ago in the column. The other animals featured that week were adopted, but Zeus is still looking for a home.
Zeus has been at the shelter since mid-October. Although he goes for walks with volunteers, it's not good for him to be caged up so much, said Animal Control Officer Cindy Saeuberlich.

Zeus is very sweet and friendly, she said. At 50 lbs, he is housebroken and good with kids.
The St. Charles Animal Control will be closed from Dec. 31-Jan. 3. Plan to visit Mr. Max, Zeus, Olive and Dora on Monday.
