Why Go: Michael's is offering an Easter themed make-it-take-it craft event for kids. Everyone, age 3 and up, is welcome!

When/Where: Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Busch Wildlife, 2360 Highway D.

Why Go: Kids are invited to learn about wetlands and the critters that call them home.  See live birds of prey, create wetland artwork, explore a beaver lodge, practice air rifle and archery skills, view live snakes and turtles or watch retriever dogs in action. Visit more than 15 stations to learn about nature through hands-on adventures such as fly-tying, a scavenger hunt or the Duck Wing Maze. Sample fried fish from Missouri’s big rivers, or purchase food and beverages from the on-site concessionaire. Each child who registers will receive a free Ducks Unlimited Greenwing membership, which includes a one-year subscription to the Puddler magazine.

Why Go: Check out the Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament that New Town is holding. The game goes all night long until a winner is announced.

This event was canceled by New Town on Friday for lack of participation. 

When/Where: Sunday, April 2, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: Watch drivers race for the best time driving on a defined course. If you like cars and driving, check it out. Go to watch or to learn how to participate.
