Missing St. Charles Man's Car Found in St. Louis City
  • A missing St. Charles man's car has been found in the city of St. Louis, but Raymond Avett is still missing, St. Charles Police say. The St. Charles Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding Avett, age 45, of the 3100 block of Flatboat Station.
'Two Chicks on 2nd Street' Home Decor Shop Gets P&Z Approval
  • The St. Charles Planning and Zoning Commission will recommend that the City Council approve a plan for a new business in the historic Frenchtown area. Two Chicks on 2nd Street plans to open in the building at 913 Second Street, offering new and used furniture, home décor and accessories for sale.
St. Charles Native Brandon Bollig Wins Stanley Cup
  • The Stanley Cup could be making a trip to St. Charles this summer. Brandon Bollig, a Francis Howell grad and St. Charles native who started his hockey career at the St. Peters Rec-Plex, is among the newest winners of hockey's top trophy. Bollig's Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Boston Bruins 3-2 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday night to clinch the Cup.
