Volunteer at Oasis Food Pantry Saturday

The 6:08 SERVE Team gathers volunteers to assist the Oasis Food Pantry Saturday afternoon.

If you're looking to volunteer in St. Charles this weekend, the OASIS Food Pantry is in need of some extra hands to sort items received from the annual Boy Scout food drive. Sign up for this volunteer opportunity this Saturday, November 17, at 1:30 p.m. The 6:08 SERVE team who will be leading the charge. 

"We [at 6:08] like to provide a variety of ongoing volunteer opportunities like working at Oasis Food Pantry and the Emmaus House to connect people who are willing to serve with those who need the help right here in St. Charles," said Steve Blacksher, pastor of the 6:08 SERVE team and weekly worship community meeting on Sunday evenings at 6:08 p.m. "This is what loving our neighbor is all about - serving one another."

There will be indoor and outdoor work available at Saturday's event. Come ready to help, leave wanting to do even more!
