St. Charles Man Wins $50,000 Scratchers Ticket

Ronald Cordsiemon II, who works for the Department of Agriculture, said the winnings may help finance a move closer to the research farm at which he works.

A St. Charles man won $50,000 from a Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket on Christmas morning.

Ronald Cordsiemon II, 38, finished opening gifts and began scratching tickets someone had put in his stocking, according to a press release.

“I was real happy. I had just won a $10 ticket prior to scratching this one off, so I was getting ready to brag about my $10 before that happened,” he recalled.
