St. Charles Competes to be Named Best Small Town in America

Jefferson City, MO was in fourth place Monday morning.

St. Charles is one of hundreds of towns competing to be named the 2013 Best Small Town in America by Rand McNally. 

The inaugural contest offers towns a chance to win in six categories:

  • Most Beautiful
  • Most Fun
  • Most Patriotic
  • Friendliest
  • Best Food 
  • Best for Geocaching
As of Monday morning, St. Charles had amassed just 29 votes across four categories. Jefferson City, MO was in first place for cities in Missouri and fourth place overall. Punta Gorda, FL led the leader board across all categories. 

Residents can vote once every 24 hours until Sept. 3. Vote for St. Charles in the Best of the Road Contest here.
