Pet of the Week: Meet Puffin the Poodle

Puffin is crate-trained and loves his foster mom.

Puffin is an eight-year-old male poodle weighing 9 pounds. He is blind in one eye but it doesn't affect him at all, he runs and plays just fine. He is very shy until he gets to know you and prefers women, men seem to scare him. He loves to sit with his foster mom and give kisses, he is a very sweet boy. Puffin is crate trained but needs work on his house training. Puffin's adoption fee is $100. Tag#6648

Dominique is a gorgeous, gray tabby, domestic short hair, with stunning, large, round, amber eyes. This young lady was born in August of 2009, and has the most loving and sweet personality. Dominique has the world's loudest purr - really! She is calm and gentle. Dominique loves her people, kids, other cats - dogs are her friends too. She is everyone's dream of a cat. If you show her the brush, you guessed it, she will stand still and purr away. Dominique is looking for a home inside - preferably with a lap to sit on! Litter box trained. Please come to the shelter and meet Dominique! The $55 adoption fee includes a comprehensive veterinary care package, lots of love from our volunteers, and a free bag of Science Diet Adult Cat food.

Pals is a 501(c)3 certified nonprofit all-volunteer animal rescue organization based in Lincoln County. Pals is a no-kill shelter essentially, with animals euthanized only if animals are too sick to be treated or too aggresive to be suitable for adoption. Pals will be at in St. Charles on June 23.
