MOsaics Missouri Festival for the Arts Schedule

MOsaics, the Missouri Festival for the Arts will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday on Main Street in St. Charles.

11:30 a.m. - Lewis and Clark Fife and Drum Corps
Their mission is to encourage the development of young fifers and drummers and promote a greater understanding and appreciation for the Lewis and ClarkExpedition.

1 p.m. - Mark Biehl Acuity Soundworks
Mark Biehl Acuity Soundworks will present cinematic music of travel and adventure from his solo release Landscapes with other explorations of world rhythms, and live improvisation on soprano saxophone, flute, percussion, and keyboards.
3:30 p.m. - Blanchette Trio
The unique sound of Trio Blanchette was born in the city of St. Charles, when violinist Alison Rolf, clarinetist Mary Bryant, and pianist Nancy Schaaf brought their rich musical experience together to perform classical favorites, memorable melodies, the best of Broadway and toe-tapping jazz.
Sunday, September 18
12 p.m. - The Original Boneheads
The Original Boneheads – also known as The St. Louis Trombone Quartet – was founded in 1998. Each of the players is conservatory trained, and experienced in musical settings from symphony orchestras to bar bands. This breadth of musical experience is reflected in the quartet’s song list, which is comprised of jazz and swing, marches, rock, doo wop, classical, R&B, polkas, blues, ragtime, Americana and more.
2 p.m. - Lewis and Clark Fife and Drum Corps
3 p.m. - The Poor People of Paris
“The Poor People of Paris” specializes in popular French music. Elsie Parker, the group’s founder, first became enchanted with the voice and songs of Edith Piaf, and especially loves singing Piaf’s early songs.
