Cottleville St. Patrick's Day Parade Seeks Volunteers

Cottleville St. Patrick’s Day Volunteers

The Cottleville St. Patrick’s Day Tradition Committee is in need of volunteers for this year’s festivities. Volunteers must be 16 years of age. 

 The following shifts are available:

Thursday, March 14: Registration packet pick-up, shifts from 9 am to noon, noon – 3 pm, 3 pm – 7 pm
Friday, March 15: Registration packet pick-up, shifts from 9 am to noon, noon – 3 pm, 3 pm – 7 pm
Friday, March 15: Lay out the run and set up barricades. 9 am to completion
Friday, March 15: Stage and finish line set up, 9am to completion
Saturday, March 16: Registration packet pick-up 6 am - 8 am
Saturday, March 16: Start line set up: 6 people 6:30 am to 8 am
Saturday, March 16: Course mile marker attendants, 7 am - 11 am
Saturday, March 16: Finish line attendants, 7 am - 11 am
Saturday, March 16: Clean up, 2 pm to 6 pm
Sunday March 17: Clean up, 7 am to completion. Parade Route Marshalls, ages 18 and up are needed as well. If you are interested in volunteering for the parade please contact Katie Mulherin at 636-400-1421 or irish0820@yahoo.com or Pat Mcevoy at 636-400-1421.

Adult Education and Literacy Department Volunteers Needed

GED classroom volunteers are needed to tutor adults in basic reading, writing, and math. Classes are held at St. Charles Community College as well as seven off-campus locations. One is sure to be close to your home.

Volunteers must have a high school diploma and be at least 18 years old, positive, friendly, and patient.

Volunteer Executive Assistant/Office Manager for The Sparrows Nest
