Free Coffee Friday at Dunkin' Donuts For Those Who Donate
Make a cash donation to Discovery Park before 10 a.m. Friday and receive a coupon for a free cup of coffee.
People who make a cash donation to Discovery Playground in Jaycee Park at Dunkin' Donuts Friday morning will get a coupon for a free cup of coffee and a travel mug.
The restaurant is celebrating its grand opening in St. Charles at 1211 South Fifth Street from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Aug. 23. A ribbon cutting will be held at 9 a.m.
Owners Milan and Keith Patel donated $1,000 to the playground. City parks and recreation staff will hand out coupons to people who donate to Discovery Playground before 10 a.m. Friday.
The playground, which is able to be used by children of all abilities, opened in October 2012.
