Cornbread's World's Largest Garage Sale

Got junk in your trunk? Or in your garage, attic or basement?

92.3 WIL Morning Show Host Cornbread says that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and invites the public to join him, rain or shine, at the 2011 Spring edition of “Cornbread's World's Largest Garage Sale”.

“Cornbread's World's Largest Garage Sale” 2011 is presented by MERS Goodwill, and is open to the public.

Admission is $5 per person. Children ages 5 and under are free of charge.

Two-hundred and fifty 10x30 booth spaces are available for purchase at $25 per space. The outdoor event allows for participants to pull up and park a car, truck, and/or trailer and sell right out of it.  Individuals purchasing a space should plan to provide for their own set-up needs, including tents, tables, chairs, racks and other display items.

Private, franchise or commercial business owners, trade show exhibitors and other independent sales contractors are not eligible to sell goods or services at this garage sale event.  92.3 WIL and Cornbread are advising participants, “If you didn't make it, wear it, build it or enjoy it under your roof, we don't want it under ours. This is an event for the common man/woman and their junk!”

Food and bake sale items are also prohibited, but the St. Charles Family Arena will have a full concession area available for participants and attendees.

To register for and purchase booth space, visit the “Cornbread’s World’s Largest Garage Sale” event page on the 92.3 WIL website - www.wil92.com/category/garagesale2011.  The deadline to reserve a space is April 25th – 10pm.  Interested attendees can get a sneak peak and check out all of the garage sale “goodies” by checking out the individual classified ads for the booth spaces posted there.
