Daily Dose: Kiss Someone, Get a Free Entree at Qdoba

Also, help narrow down the restaurants that will represent St. Charles in an upcoming "Munch Madness" contest.

Customers at the  restaurant in St. Charles can get free food on Tuesday, if they don't mind a little PDA.

The nationwide chain is bringing back a Valentine's Day promotion that, according to spokeswoman Ashley Cohen, tens of thousands of customers took advantage of in 2011.

Anyone who buys an entree can get another for free—once they kiss a fellow customer at the cash register. It doesn't matter (to Qdoba) who it is.

No coupon is necessary. The promotion is happening nationwide, though in Wisconsin, inexplicably, the second entree is 50 percent off, not free.

The Qdoba in the Mark Twain Mall Shopping Center is open normal hours, from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., on Valentine's Day.

Weather: According to weather.gov, Tuesday will bring a chance of freezing drizzle before 9 a.m., with a high of 41.

  • On Thursday, the St. Charles County Young Republicans will meet at in St. Charles for dinner and to listen to three candidates for the Missouri Secretary of State, Sen. Scott Rupp, Sen. Bill Stouffer and Rep. Shane Schoeller. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m., speakers begin at 7 p.m.
