Be a Tourist in Your Own Town Today

Demolition Ball/Adrenaline Zone in St. Charles is participating in Thursday's event.

See for yourself why St. Louis is such a great place to visit during the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission’s annual Be a Tourist in Your Own Town event.

The region’s most popular attractions will exhibit in Kiener Plaza in the heart of downtown St. Louis with free refreshments, music, prizes and fun for everyone.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Thursday, May 3.

As part of the event, area chefs will officially present five signature St. Louis dishes. The dishes include toasted ravioli, St. Louis-style thin crust pizza, pork steaks, gooey butter cake and the slinger.

The Be a Tourist event also features more than 50 area attractions, hotels and restaurants as well as free ice cream from North Star Frozen Treats, prizes and live music from Jive and Wail.
