A Christmas Carol

  • What? Lindenwood University Fine and Performing Arts students perform the Charles Dickens classic, continuing a holiday tradition that's lasted for over three decades. Tickets range from $10-$18. Click here to order tickets.

  • When/Where? Dec. 4, 5:30 p.m., 311 North Main Street, St. Charles
  • What? Someone has killed the Grinch and now Santa's on the trail. Who can imagine the jolly old elf with a belly that shakes likea bowl fully of jelly could ever be a murdere? Come help us discover the real killer. Tickets to the dinner and show are $62.50. Reservations are required. A limited number of tickets are available. For tickets call Karen Godfrey 636-255-6155.

Sounds of the Season at Heritage Museum

  • When/Where? Sunday, Dec. 4 from 3-6 p.m. at , 1630 Heritage Landing in St. Peters. 
  • What? Come hear holiday music while enjoying hot apple cider and a tour of the new free museum. Current displays show life of the German immigrants who settled St. Charles County in the early 1800s. Musical performances include St. Louis Christmas Carols Association, St. Charles Community Singers and more.

  • What? Pat Holt Singers will perform a dinner concert called, "Christmas for Veterans." Doors open at 4 p.m., dinner is 5 p.m. The event is at 324 South 3rd Street. Tickets and information, email patholt@yahoo.com

  • When/Where? Saturday, Dec. 3 at 9 a.m. at , 801 First Capitol Dr. in St. Charles 
  • What? Come and pick out your favorite treats homemade cookies and candies for only $6. All proceeds will be used for mission work both locally and around the world.

  • When/Where? Friday-Sunday at the , 520 N Main Ctr. in St. Charles. 
  • What? The Big Red Box Show and Sale is an opportunity for Missouri artists to sell their unique, handcrafted art for the holidays. The free show runs from 4-9 p.m. Dec. 2 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

  • When/Where? New Town will host a Christmas bazaar from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Town Hall Dec. 3.
  • What? Head to the children's party from 4 to 6 p.m. and watch the New Town Christmas tree lighting.

Kids

  • When/Where? Saturday, Dec. 3 before 5 p.m. at St. Charles 18 Theaters, 1830 South First Capitol Drive, St. Charles.
  • What? Donate five or more cans of food and see a movie for free before 5 p.m. Bring in an additional 15 cans and receive a pass to see a movie on another day.

  • When/Where? Enjoy Breakfast with Santa on Saturday Dec. 3 at 9 a.m. at the Mother in Law House, 500 S. Main Street, St. Charles.
  • What? Santa visits each Saturday between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Tickets are $15, reservations are required.

  • When/Where? 6 p.m. Dec. 3, South Main Street and Boones Lick Road
  • What? Bring your candles, luminaries, lanterns and flashlights and join in a procession that has been a Spanish tradition for centuries. Follow a live reenactment of Mary and Joseph searching for a room at the inn. Events begins at South Main and Boones Lick and travels north on Main Street ending in Frontier Park with a live nativity, Yule Log and caroling.
