A Night of Poetry at the Foundry Art Centre

  • When/Where? Friday, April 27 at 7 p.m. at the _, 520 N Main Ctr., St. Charles. 
  • What?  This event features Missouri’s First Poet Laureate Walter Bargen and Howard Schwartz reading from selected works. People will have a chance to meet the poets and get signed copies of their books.  Cost is $5, and a cash bar is available.  Run. Live. Learn. 10K/5K/Fun Run and Expo

  • When/Where? Saturday, April 28 at 7:30 a.m. at , 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. Cottleville. 
  • What? St. Charles Community College presents this 20th annual wellness event, which is free and open to the public. Late registration is $25 for 10K and 5K and $20 for Fun Run.

  • When/Where? Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at  2101 Bluestone Drive in St. Charles.
  • What? Bring documents to be cross shred by American Document Destruction. Bring electronics to be recycled for a minimal fee.

  • When/Where? 107 North Main Street, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. April 28. 
  • What?Celebrate the one year anniversary of the shop with giveaways, cupcakes, local artist demonstrations and make and takes.

  • When/Where? North Main Street, St. Charles, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 28.
  • What? Gather a group of 8-12 people and spend the day bouncing through participating St. Charles bars. Cost is $40 per person, and each person will get team pitcher tickets and admittance to an after-party. 

  • When/Where? 12 p.m. April 28, . 
  • What? Bring a roll of quarters to this event which includes vendors from Tastefully Simple, Mary Kay, Miche, Jafra and more. Purchase an auction paddle for $5. Bid on more than $500 in products. Bids are between 25 cents and $1. Proceeds benefit the Sickle Cell Association. 

St. Charles YMCA Adult Co-ed Kickball Tournament

  • When/Where? Saturday, April 28 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Charles , 3900 Shady Springs Ln.
  • What? Grab some friends and sign up to play kickball this weekend. Cost is $200. Teams receive T-shirts and are guaranteed to play two games. Teams must have 10-15 players, with a minimum of four women. Participants are welcome to bring their own snacks, beer and soda. 

10th Annual Angel Ball Gala

  • When/Where? Saturday, April 28 at 6 p.m. at the , 1 Convention Center Plaza, St. Charles.
  • What?  This annual event benefits Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, Inc., which serves parents who have lost children. New York Times Bestselling author Richard Paul Evans is the guest of honor. Cost is $100. For more information, call 636-947-6164.

 A Night Among the Stars

  • When/Where? Saturday, April 28 at 6:30 p.m. at 3300 Rue Royale, St. Charles. 
  • What? Foundations of Love invites you out to a night of star gazing, drinks, music and raffles to benefit adults with developmental disabilities in St. Charles County.

Kilometers for Chris 5K and Fun Run

  • When/Where? Sunday, April 29 at 9 a.m. at 209 S Kingshighway St., St. Charles. 
  • What? Proceeds from this event will benefit Chris Lister, who was struck by a car while running in a 10K in January. Chris suffered serious injuries and the goal of this event is to provide financial support for him and his family during this difficult time. Cost is $25 the day of the race. Register online.

  • When/Where? 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 29 , 801 1st Capitol Dr 
  • What? The Missouri Choral Society will celebrate 41 seasons with two performances, one at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Ellisville, one at First United Methodist Church in St. Charles. Concerts feature music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Medley); Cats (Medley); Sunset Boulevard (Medley), among others.
