The St. Charles Ministerial Alliance invites the general public to an ecumenical worship service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The service will be held on January 20th at 7 p.m. and is hosted by First United Methodist Church in St. Charles.

Keynote speaker for the ecumenical service is Father Art Cavitt, Executive Director of the St. Charles Lwanga Center.   Father Cavitt will speak on Dr. Martin Luther King’s idea of a “Beloved Community.” The St. Charles Ministerial Alliance is comprised of clergy from various faith traditions and denominations including Episcopalian, Methodist, Baptist, Jehovah Witness, Catholic and United Church of Christ.
